diy: toddler art gift tags

Rowan has been really loving painting which means we have tons of his artwork all over the place.  I thought it would be fun to use some of his creations to make gift tags. We have a few of little friends birthdays coming up, and I think these will make nice tags for their presents.

That's a great idea to repurpose the ream of artwork the kids have done, but I can't seem to part with! Love it.

This is a very good idea, making gift bags out of the crafts that your son had made.

I love this idea! I have a 5 year old son who loves to do arts and crafts and this kind of thing would make a fun project for him to do!

Great idea! I wish I would have thought of this when mine were small. They so love helping out with gift wrapping at that age, and this would make it an even more personal touch!

Cute Idea! I would hate to cut up any of my kids art at this point since they are still new at it (22 months)- but if we made it with this in mind I think it would be great. 🙂

Love this! I use brown packaging paper and then let my kids colors all over it for wrapping paper 😉

I think we can also do this as a shared activity with a toddler—- with different materials and much safer tools. I would like to recommend this craft to the activities for toddlers sydney activity.

This craft is perfectly cute for wrapping my baby shower gift for my cousin! Thanks for the idea. The color combination of the gift tags complements the sky blue wrapper! Perfect for baby boy gifts!

I like the color-mixing effect of the tags! I tried to make tags at home too, but the colors are really eye-catchy so I used them as designs for my invitations and cards instead. I combined pink and purple, blue and yellow, then green and orange. Thanks for sharing this!

I will try to make a customised art tag like the one you posted above. My girlfriend's birthday is two weeks from so I still have the time to make one.

I rather put raisins in that jar instead of that. My mom loves raisins so I think this would be a nice additional gift.

Thanks for sharing. I like the paint effect of the tags, so I used the same design on my personalized pocket folders. Works on any design!

Hi, thanks for this! The watercolor effect you used on the tags just gave me an idea. I requested the same effect and color when I had my umbrella personalized. It looks perfect specially if you look at it in top view.

Your DIY tag designs are amazing. My grandmother will be glad if I will give her some tags for her strawberry jars.

I do prefer hand made gifts rather than bought ones. You can see the effort with this kind of gift making it more valuable than others.

Good thing I’ve read this post, I can try this art gift tag after we buy their toys. I’m just so excited to try this tag design!
