Lisa Fyfe is a graphic designer and mom to a lovely 12 year old boy and 6 year old labradoodle. After having him, life changed ten-fold. From being the art director of a publishing company in New York City to a slower paced life in Connecticut, and now San Diego, life went from good to great. When I was challenged with my own feelings while parenting, I started creating activities that could help kids and parents open up about their emotions. It was so therapeutic and helpful, so I put my feelings activities together into a book. I created the book that I wanted for my own parenting, and I am so thrilled to share it with you.
Vanilla Blueberry Yogurt Pops. I made this recipe this week after posting it in my newsletter and it was so fresh and yummy, so sharing it here! I used to make these yogurt pops all of the time for my son and he would eat them for breakfast. If blueberries are not in season use frozen wild blueberries or whatever frozen fruit you like. They are really easy to make and you can even add some oats if you want to make them even more nutritious for breakfast. ⁠
Try Flower Breathing 🌸 In my last reel, I showed how to make these cardboard Lavender scented flowers. The "pistol" is scented with lavender oil which is a very calming and make it fun. The act of breathing in and out, calms the nervous system and get kids introduced to breath work. Flip through the images and use it as a guide plus one of the images is instructions that you can screen shot. 🌸⁠
