CHILDHOOD REVISITED

I loved playing with my Legos when I was a kid. I used to sit
with them for hours constructing all kinds of stuff. Rowan got a Lego set as a birthday gift. Today we spread them out, and I played like I was 9 years
old again. I felt like Rowan and I were just 2 kids hangin’ on a rainy afternoon. We made a flower garden, a magical castle and an apartment
building. This reliving of
your childhood aspect of being a mom is pretty cool.

What a great picture. A beautiful little boy to boot. Legos and
tinker toys were my thing as a kid. I loved the playdough hair salon. I played with that for hours.

    Yes, his hair is fantastic!

I didn't play with trains when I was little, but when my oldest son was about 2 he started collecting Thomas the Tank engines trains and tracks. And I got so into it! We would spend hours and hours building the most elaborate tracks we could think of.

The trains were tucked away in bins until last weekend when my 9-year-old decided to get them all out. We spent Sunday afternoon building tracks. It was so nice to just play.
