FRUIT

So, I am a bit of a weirdo and don’t like most fruit. It’s a curse since eating fruit makes attaining general good health and weight management sooo much easier. I like apples and bananas, but that is about it. There is something about the texture that I find, for lack of a better word, yucky.

Luckily, it seems like Rowan is a good fruit eater. He is not at all like his weirdo mom.

I LOVE your photos. do you use a photoshop to get that look? If so what programs do you use.

And you are missing out! Fruit is amazing! Mango, pineapples, papaya, yum!!! But at least you like bananas and apples- amazing nutrients!

Thanks so much! Those pictures come from my camera, a Nikon and the lens I use gives it the effects your seeing. The lens is a 50 mm lens. I just use photoshop to fix the color if they are too dark.

I know! I really wish I liked fruit more. I love vegetables and drink smoothies a lot!

My older daughter won't touch fruit of any kind (fortunately, she likes vegetables). She says it's a texture thing, too. I'm glad to hear you'll drink smoothies, though. It gives me hope!

When I was challenged with my own feelings while parenting, I started creating activities that could help kids and parents open up about their emotions. It was so therapeutic and helpful, so I put my feelings activities together into a book. I created the book that I wanted for my own parenting, and I am so thrilled to share it with you.
Vanilla Blueberry Yogurt Pops. I made this recipe this week after posting it in my newsletter and it was so fresh and yummy, so sharing it here! I used to make these yogurt pops all of the time for my son and he would eat them for breakfast. If blueberries are not in season use frozen wild blueberries or whatever frozen fruit you like. They are really easy to make and you can even add some oats if you want to make them even more nutritious for breakfast.
Try Flower Breathing 🌸 In my last reel, I showed how to make these cardboard Lavender scented flowers. The "pistol" is scented with lavender oil which is a very calming and make it fun. The act of breathing in and out, calms the nervous system and get kids introduced to breath work. Flip through the images and use it as a guide plus one of the images is instructions that you can screen shot. 🌸
