I have been meaning to post this recipe for awhile now. Life has gotten a bit crazy around here. We have been a big transition, we are making a big move to San Diego. Though I have a really good feeling about it, relocating is always a stressful endeavor. I am just a bit of a stick in the mud when it comes to change. BUT California has me excited and inspired and I am ready to get back into the grove of things. I have a little desk set up in our rental house and am attempting at getting back to a daily routine
My favorite thing this week is this simple recipe for a naturally scented roll-on. As I have mentioned before, I have moved away from synthetic products in my skin care routine. My good friend Renee from Wild Sage Apothecary, shared this very simple concoction with me, and I love it. I carry these small vials with me at all times, and either sniff them or wear the oil behind my ears and pulse points. On our long flights back and forth, I have snuck little dabs of a lavender scent on Rowan’s little neck to relax him on the long cross country flight. I think they are great antidote for a wild three year old during nap or bedtime.
I have two scents right now in frequent rotation: Lavender for relaxation, and another, a mix of half Ylang Ylang and half Jasmine that just smells luxurious and lovely.
